For example, a more experienced lawyer who charges $500 per hour can solve a legal problem in 5 hours at a total cost of $2,500. Another lawyer may charge $300 an hour, but because they have less experience, it can take 10 hours to resolve the same legal problem, or $3,000 in total. “Dozens of Texas lawyers are now charging $1,000 or more per hour for their legal services,” the Houston Chronicle reports.
