The UIC Business Career Center is open with all resources available to students, including counseling, workshops, job and internship opportunities, job fairs, etc. A team of experienced career coaches is there to help students gain the skills they need to find the right career in business and transfer their teaching experience to the workplace. A 3-hour semester credit requires a choice from all non-accounting business majors to help our students form the attitude, disposition, and habit of thinking, working, and living in an ethical environment. In pursuit of these high ideals and standards of academic life, students are expected to uphold and support the Code of Honor of the UIC College of Business Administration throughout their academic life at UIC. They are expected to adhere to the highest moral and ethical standards in all academic and business activities and to conduct themselves honorably as responsible members of the College`s academic community. These include strategic management and trade policy formulation and implementation. Students use knowledge from all functional areas of the business to formulate business strategies and implementation plans through business analyses (including simulation). Course Information: Intensive computer use required. Prerequisite(s): ACTG 210 and ACTG 211 and BA 200 and ECON 218 and IDS 200 and IDS 270; and IDS 355 and FIN 300 and MGMT 340 and MGMT 350 and MKTG 360; and Senior Standing or higher. Students MUST review their final exams (with the correct catalog year) to find out which advanced quantitative skills course they can take. Not all students have the opportunity to take all of these courses. Students should consult their academic advisor if they are unsure of their course requirements.

The College of Business Administration annually invites the top 10% of junior and senior classes to accept membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the national academic honor society in the field of business administration. Participants must have completed at least 30 semester hours at UIC and are selected based on their UIC and cumulative grade point averages.
