Legal Action against Wyndham

In October 2013, the trial court held a follow-up hearing to consider the amount of punitive damages to be awarded to Westgate. After reviewing Westgate`s financial situation, the court set the penalties at $600,000 based on the “reprehensibility” of Westgate`s conduct. The Overtons also received $136,000 in legal fees. We must make all timeshares illegal, them with their outrageous interests and hasty practices and possession of “nothing”, how is it legal!!!!! And yes, I`m trying to deal with timeshare, but is there really a lawyer to prosecute? @rose yes Amilcar v. I would also like to be included in this class action. I wrote a letter to the CEO that I doubt he will ever read. The strong pressure to buy more and more points is exhausting. What did we do last year with all our maintenance fees when we couldn`t book anywhere? I just got back from Panama City Beach, Florida and the rooms were terrible. Only one elevator worked most of the time and there are 25 floors there! Work has even been done on the escalator. I`m a VIP Gold, but I think the definition of VIP is very different from mine. I did not buy a full-time timeshare. They told me it was a way to see if I liked it without fully committing. She told me it would be good for 2 years and I would pay about $30 a month.

When the papers of the financial sector arrived. He said it would cost me 3000, with 6 months without interest, after which it would be more than 4000 with interest. It no longer made sense beyond $100 to $30 a month, its big difference. I called them and they won`t pay back the financial industry even after pretending it wasn`t what they told me it would cost me. Wyndham claims that there was no MP, but finance provided me with Despute`s papers. I don`t want to ruin my loan. I don`t want the Wyndham, but now I don`t know what else to do? I would like to join a lawsuit against Hilton Grand Vacations. I was scammed by Wyndham in December 2017. I was told that I would make enough profit with additional vacation rentals to cover my maintenance costs and timeshare fees while remaining money and points for my own use.

This is not the case. I Zulma Ortiz also wants to be included in the Wyndham class action lawsuit. I have been the owner since December 2018 and am very disappointed with Wyndham. I recently attended two presentations in the last few weeks. The first one we visited at Wyndham Vacation Resorts in National Harbor. We only agreed to go to the presentation to get more information because we were still confused about how the program would work. My husband and I started asking questions, and the representative answered a few of them. He was very nice at first, but then, as he continued, he became tense and said we weren`t happy because we made a mistake and dropped our pixels.

He said we had to buy back those pixels and wanted to charge ourselves $22,000.00 for about 300,000 pixels. When we realized this, he was just trying to sell us another timeshare. Then we went to a resort in Atlantic City and the rep told us we needed more points and this time the price was even higher, they wanted $75,000 for $300,000. What they want is for people to go bankrupt. Please add me to the lawsuit against Wyndham. I bought on a constraint day in November 2020 and thought I could balance payments if the information I was given was correct. I could never take my vacation, because of the rules on windows for this or that. None of this was made clear, but I was offered a stay in Nashville via rocalls where I wanted to see my daughter. And it was “free” when I attended a presentation. In Wyndham Vacation Resorts` latest class-action lawsuit, timeshare owners David and Thea DuBose allege the company is scamming guests before they sign up for a timeshare and after they`ve already purchased one.

Our history with Wyndham is the same as all these complaints. We live on a fixed income, they ruined our loan and prevented us from refinancing our house, and they say they will take $10,000. to free us from timeshare. The initial purchase amount is $15,000. In my opinion, this is pressure to sell under pressure, misleading and legal fraud. Timeshare owners claim that after complaining to Wyndham about their dissatisfaction with Wyndham, Wyndham retaliated by freezing their accounts and telling them they couldn`t use current bookings from their timeshare interests or make additional bookings. Although I am not a HGVC owner, I know from many years of personal timeshare experience that HGVC is actually highly regarded by those who own in the HGVC system as one of the most popular timeshare “chains” in terms of owner/client satisfaction. You will have a hard time “finding a lawsuit against HGVC”. I go a little further and say I would be really shocked if you could find a — somewhere. We have had a timeshare Holiday Inn Orange Lake since 2013. The seller told us that we only had this moment to decide at the discounted price. She also said they would rent it for us whenever we called and asked. We called, the answer was no, we don`t. We are retiring and we cannot afford it. Is anyone aware of any ongoing legal action? I need this Wyndham timeshare. If anyone has any information to join this lawsuit, that would be very helpful.
